(Debutant director Anusha Rizvi takes up the issue of farmer suicides that has plagued the country for years. About to lose their land, Natha and Budhia turn to a local politician for help. He instead suggests that it would be easier to kill themselves to benefit from a government scheme that supports the family of deceased farmers. Fuelled by this thought, Natha weighs his options and is bent on killing himself when the media lands at his doorstep for a scoop. Not to be outdone, the local politicians jump on the bandwagon on the eve of elections and try to win the crowd in their favor.)
